Course Description:
This course will review traditional views of curriculum development and compare and contrast them with the views of William Glasser, W. Edwards Deming, Aristotle and Thomas Kelly. Present theory and practice will be examined, its current ineffectiveness and limitations, what can and should be changed, and how these changes can be effectively implemented in terms of:
1. How to eliminate the achievement gap between various groups
2. Bring about significant improvement for all students
3. While reducing costs and resources required
